-
No. In fact, many of our clients are not at home during their service due to work or social obligations. If you do not plan to be home during your service, you will need to grant us access to your yard either through a gate or service entrance. If your pet is new to us, or uncomfortable around service technicians, you will need to leave them inside.
-
Your CaliPet technician will not service your yard if you have an aggressive dog that is in the yard. Once your tech gets to know your dog and establishes that they are friendly and comfortable with the technician's presence, they are allowed to stay in the yard during the scooping. For deodorizer and sanitizer applications, they will need to be kept inside (or separated from the yard) until the application has had time to set and dry, usually about 15-20 minutes.
-
All dog waste is double-bagged to prevent odors and tearing, then properly disposed of in trash bins. If the customer has easily accessible trash bins, their dog’s waste will be disposed of in those bins. If the customer’s trash bins are not easily accessible, CaliPet will remove the waste from the property and dispose of it separately.
-
Absolutely! Every time.
After every yard we service, our CaliPet techs will wash and disinfect every tool and surface that touches your yard, including their shoes, using veterinary-grade sanitizing chemicals that are safe and effective for use around animals.
Our techs also wear disposable latex gloves during every cleaning and dispose of them at the conclusion of service, followed by handwashing.
We take cleanliness and safety very seriously. -
Dogs don’t stop pooping when it rains, and CaliPet doesn’t stop scooping either.
In light-to-medium rain, your CaliPet tech will continue servicing their route. Light rain is actually ideal for applying deodorizer, as it keeps the ground wet for longer and allows the formulation to work most effectively. In the rare occurrence that heavy rain besets Southern California, your appointment will be rescheduled, and you will be notified. If your appointment is canceled due to heavy rain and cannot be rescheduled, you will not be charged for that appointment.
-
Yes. You may cancel, pause, or resume your service with CaliPet at any time. Should you cancel, any unused portion of your recurring plan that you have already been billed for will be refunded to you.
